With more than two decades leading advanced technology programs across the medical, defense, and commercial sectors, Ryan Redford has built a career at the intersection of electromechanical engineering, artificial intelligence, and mission-critical system design. His work spans complex embedded architectures, next-generation sensor systems, precision micro-valving technologies, and secure AI-driven platforms that support high-reliability applications in healthcare and national defense.

Mr. Redford specializes in transforming early-stage concepts into fully realized operational systems—bridging scientific innovation, regulatory strategy, and commercial execution. His portfolio includes the development of high-performance ventilator technologies, autonomous system controls, cyber-resilient hardware platforms, and advanced optical sensing systems deployed in demanding field environments.

A builder of teams, products, and systems, Mr. Redford’s leadership centers on solving global technological challenges through engineered precision, leveraging deep-domain expertise to create platforms that are not only profitable, but strategically impactful. Under his direction, Black Fur Industries advances secure AI frameworks, embedded defense technologies, and integrated sensing architectures that support government agencies, defense partners, and commercial innovators.

His mission remains constant: develop technologies that elevate capability, enhance safety, and redefine what is possible at the convergence of engineering and intelligence.

Dr. Janet Roveda

Dr. Janet Roveda is a nationally recognized leader in artificial intelligence, embedded systems, and secure computing architectures. With deep expertise spanning Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, and advanced AI research, she brings more than two decades of innovation to Black Fur Industries’ most mission-critical programs.

Dr. Roveda’s work focuses on low-power, real-time data acquisition, neural network acceleration, and high-performance multicore platform design—core technologies that underpin modern defense, sensing, and autonomous systems. Her contributions have shaped the fields of intelligent signal processing, adaptive embedded platforms, and resilient AI systems capable of operating at the tactical edge.

In recognition of her groundbreaking advancements in AI and systems engineering, Dr. Roveda received the Presidential Early Career Award for Scientists and Engineers (PECASE) at the White House—one of the highest honors bestowed on emerging leaders in science and technology.

As CTO of Black Fur Industries, Dr. Roveda leads the development of secure AI frameworks, photonic and adaptive sensing technologies, and next-generation cyber-resilient architectures. Her collaborative research environment, rooted in the BIO5 Institute, continues to expand the frontier of AI and computational science applied to defense, aerospace, and advanced medical systems.

Her leadership drives Black Fur Industries’ commitment to developing trusted, high-performance, and mission-ready AI technologies for government and commercial partners.
